Владимир Николаевич Пчёлкин

He was born in May 19, 1961 in Donetsk. In 1983 he received the diploma of the Donetsk State University with a degree “Physics”. He worked at Donetsk State University (Donetsk National University) as an assistant and a head teacher; SCTB “Turbulence” at the DSU as a leading a programmer, at the Institute of Artificial Intelligence (later – the State University of Informatics and Artificial Intelligence) as a senior researcher and lecturer. In February 1992 he defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of Phys. – Mathematical sciences.
Since September 2011 he has worked at the Donetsk National Technical University. He has 20 publications and one invention. His research interests are numerical simulation of liquids, particularly water and aqueous solutions, computer graphics, image processing and computer vision, modeling of physical and chemical processes in the steel industry. The area of his technical interests is information and technology systems in imaging and recognition of visual images, robotechnics, installation (plants) of iron direct reduction, systems and means of computer simulation.
